Veteran musician Halima Namakula has publicly disclosed that she is in a relationship with a mystery man.
Halima Namakula confessed during a YouTube interview that they have been together for a long time, but cannot display their relationship before the public. Her man stays in the US, and they have outgrown the stage of being in each other’s company all the time, like most young couples.
“There is a stage you get to in life and no longer care when next you will see each other; it just happens. When you grow old, you do not act the way you used to during your youth. We have been together for years,” she said.
Halima, however, declined to reveal the identity and more details about him, stating that their affair was very private even when they were in a serious relationship.
Halima Namakula further revealed that after the death of the father of her children many years ago, she decided to settle down with one man. As a woman of virtue, she reasoned that she did this to act as a perfect example and role model to the younger generation looking up to him.
“I never wanted my children to see me jumping from one man to another. If such a relationship doesn’t work out, it would paint a bad image of me, claiming that it is okay to sleep around. This would affect my legacy as a mother. I avoided all that and got myself one stable man like me,” she said.

Halima will hold a concert to celebrate 25 years in the music industry. She has alerted music lovers to look around because her mystery man will be around to support her.
