Two former division LC3 bosses are fighting to win back their government offices after warming and occupying them for one term. The Division ‘A’ boss Kasule David Wasswa and the Division ‘B’ boss Anthony Seguja are fighting in the battle of
the titans in today’s local council election in Entebbe municipality. The duo have been occupying the government office chairs until early this month when the electoral commission expired their term and scheduled 31st/ June/2016 as voting date
for chairpersons and councilors following the electoral irregularities that happened on the 7th /March/ 2016 at the Entebbe police station where electoral commission ballot boxes
were tempered with including the packing lists. The ballot papers of different polling stations were found packed and not tallying with the registered voters which sparked off a bloody scuffle at the police station where the electoral materials where being dispatched from that evening. And since then voting of division chairpersons with councilors has been a dream after several other contestants including Michael Mutebi, Stanley Namayirira and Sadiq Mukasa joined the political frying pan to throw out the old guns in today’s voting.(By Entebbe News Media)
