The Fufa big league match between Entebbe and Masaka based Synergy F.C ended in chaos on Friday after Entebbe F.C fans wanted to lynch referee whose names haven’t yet been identified. The chaos and Melee erupted shortly after the referee had blown the final whistle and Entebbe fans flooded the Bugonga play Ground threatening to pounce on him and beat him up. The Entebbe F.C Fans accused the referee for being biased after he awarded Synergy a controversial penalty in the first half and he disallowed Abdul Hussein’s equalizer in the second half that would have put Entebbe level with Synergy at 3-3. Entebbe Captain Sande Mukiibi and Nicodemus Ikesiti aka Monday were banned following their involvement in the chaos and abusing the referee. Synergy scooped three points after they beat Entebbe F.C 3-2. Entebbe F.C Officials declined to comment on the incident.
