Entebbe Municipality Residents have gotten fed up with elections one of these days ever since the LCIII Polls were indefinitely postponed a couple of months ago. The LCIII polls were postponed from March 7, 2016 till today after the ballot papers were allegedly tampered with at Entebbe Police Station. Several Aspiring LCIII aspiring made noise after the ballot boxes plus ballot papers were poorly packed with broken seals which sparked off a nasty scuffle at the police Station. Since then several candidates have been operating underground and begging for votes from all corners including secretly organizing house to house and door to door campaigns. Top contenders who are battling for the LCIII Division seat include DP’s Stanley Namayirira and NRM’s Sempala Twaha in Division ‘B’ while in Division ‘A’ Incumbent Chairman David Kasule Wasswa is battling NRM’s Michael Mutebi. Residents got fed up and haven’t turned up in big numbers like in the Presidential election.
