The Entebbe Handling Services security Manager Olivia Namuwonge is in hot soup and counting her days on fingers after former security officer identified as Gerald Atalyeba plotting to sue the company for unfairly kicking him out of his paying job. The former Enhas security officer has been crying crocodile tears and fuming like crazy ever since the Enhas top Boss Phillipe Lacroix fired him a couple of months ago over several allegations including being redundant and failing to perform his tasks.
According to the termination letter that entebbenews has obtained, Gerald Atalyeba, a senior team Leader, was accused of not giving intelligence information and reporting incidences or near incidences of fraud in the Cargo department.
“That this would go on for years undetected is unacceptable for the management of ENHAS to keep you in your current role”, the termination letter reads in part.
A source close to Atalyeba has indicated that the accusations labeled against him in the termination letter are mere lies because there is no evidence to pin him. The source revealed that Atalyeba is suing ENHAS for unfairly terminating because he wasn’t given a prior warning and to make matters worse the Amalgamated Transport and General Workers Union wasn’t consulted.
The source also disclosed that ENHAS Management forgot the terms and conditions of service in the Labour Act which is the supreme law and worst of all Phillipe Lacroix has usurped the duties of the Human Resource Manager Stella Namakula who only looks on when he is making blunders.
It’s not yet clear when Gerald Atalyeba is filing a case in the courts of Law however the source disclosed that he is determined to get Justice.
