Entebbe International Airport police Boss Lodovick Awita has never stopped smiling ever since his boss Gen. Kayihura promoted him from a small office to a fat and juicy post. The staunch religious man was last year promoted to the post of Chief of Joint Security to man all the security detail at Entebbe Airport after his bosses found no dirty linen to his name. The senior government police officer has served the police force for thousands of years in several capacities including Aviation Police Commandant. He was last week on Saturday awarded with a Tarehe Sita medal by President Museveni and Commander-In-Chief of the armed forces after serving the police force for several years and busting gangs of criminals attempting to smuggle tonnes and tonnes of Heroin, Cocaine and Ivory at Entebbe Airport. The 35th Tarehe Sita celebrations were organized at the Kololo Independence grounds and were presided over by Army Mouth piece Lt.Col. Paddy Ankunda and Col. Felix Kulayigye. Other big achievers of the day included Police Mouth piece Fred Enaga.
