Ugandan musician Dax Vibez has revealed that he tried contacting Cindy Sanyu to address the issue of having concerts on the same date, but it didn’t go as expected.
Dax Vibez announced earlier this year that he would hold his maiden concert on 29 May, before Cindy revealed a few days back that she would have her concert on the same date.
Upon Dax Vibez crossing paths with the news of his competition, he tried reaching out to Cindy, but only managed to contact the events promoter behind her concert. In an interview with BBS, Dax Vibez said it didn’t go well when he discussed the possibilities of changing their dates.
Without giving much detail about what happened during the discussion, Dax emphasized that he would still proceed with his concert as planned because of the resources he had already spent on event promotion.
“I reached out to discuss the dates and how we could support each other on different days but it didn’t end well. I cannot blame them; I’m just going through with it because I cannot also change my date because I had already booked the places,” he said.
Dax further called upon party animals to come through in large numbers to support him on his first major concert on a big stage at Hotel Africana.

“I call upon everyone to support us. Let us all come through in large numbers; families should split. But since my venue is small, I request you first fill it up then the rest go to Cindy,” he said.
