Content creator and doctor, Solomon Kimera, is the topic of discussion on social media following his controversial post about fibroids.
Dr. Solomon took to his X handle and encouraged women to give birth at a younger age lest they suffer from fibroids.
The Ugandan physician may have decided to educate the women about fibroids, but he wrapped the message in humor, rubbing a section of social media users the wrong way.
While using a picture of himself, Dr. Solomon Kimera directed his guns towards the women who prefer to sort their finances and be independent before deciding to start a family.
He insinuated that while they were taking their time looking for money, they would age and, in turn, face high risks of getting fibroids.

The widely shared post generated significant criticism, especially from women, downplaying his ‘medical facts’. While many insulted him, some went as far as to file complaints to the medical board in Uganda.

This was to have his medical license revoked for the ‘insensitive’ way he played with a serious condition that has greatly affected several women.
Others, on the other hand, hailed him for educating women about fibroids, despite his sarcastic approach.
Fibroids, also known as uterine fibroids or leiomyomas, are non-cancerous growths that develop in or on the uterus. They are made of muscle and fibrous tissue and vary in size from very small (pea-sized) to large masses that can distort the uterus.
