Renowned TikToker and influencer Chicken Chicken, real name Katongole Anthony, has expressed his disappointment with Baba TV’s management for laying him off via social media.
During an interview, the TikTok influencer acknowledged that he was laid off after he was linked to the private videos that went viral on social media.
The influencer who joined the station in April this year was not satisfied with management’s decision to let him go, mainly because of how they delivered the news to him.
Chicken narrated that to work at the station, Hon. Balyeku, the proprietor of Baba TV and Baba FM, personally called him, and they met at Latitude in Makindye, where they agreed that he would work on the gossip show.
When the private videos leaked, the influencer claimed Balyeku didn’t bother to call him to terminate their contract, but only did so through a statement released on social media.
What hurt me was that they didn’t notify me when they were suspending me. I even used my fuel and got to the station, but they said I had been laid off. It was unfair.

He would have called me the same way he did when he was pleading with me to work for him. I wasted my time getting there and didn’t even have an official notice, but a statement they released on social media. I didn’t get this job from social media.
Chicken claims he was replaced by now ailing content creator Jayden, real name Kayanja Timothy.
