


The Forum For Democratic Change Presidential Candidate Rtd Col. Dr. Kiiza Besigye on Thursday combed Entebbe Municipality ahead of Next week’s polls slated for Thursday February 18. Besigye who was accompanied by FDC Party President Maj. Gen. (Rtd) Mugisha Muntu and Joyce Ssebugwawo Nabbosa rallied the people of Entebbe to deny President Museveni votes and send him on retirement because he has nothing new to offer to Ugandans. Besigye noted that President Museveni has failed to tackle corruption adding that majority of the hospitals, health centers and schools are in a very deplorable condition. He promised to give teachers and health workers salary increment
On February 18 get up and cast your ballot so that we get rid of Museveni because Ugandans have had enough of his oppression and dictatorship. The whole country is yearning for change. People should reside in the citizens not an individual, Besigye stated.
Besigye who arrived at the Kiwafu Play Ground at 6pm made several stop-over’s along Entebbe Road including Abaita Ababiri.
He urged the people of Entebbe Municipality to vote Gitta Alex the FDC flag bearer for the parliamentary seat and Namagembe Margaret Paulina for the Wakiso District Women Parliamentary seat.
