In a communication sent to the club and the beach soccer stakeholders, the Beach Soccer Competitions Committee refereed to Article 32 & 2 Section G and M respectively of the Pepsi Beach Soccer rules and took a decision to disqualify Kira Young and Elites Club from the Pepsi Beach Soccer League season 2014/2015. Uganda Cranes arrived safely in Kumasi and have been accommodated at Noda Hotel , located 20 kms to Baba Yara stadium. Reports from Kumasi indicate that the weather is warm. Head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic and his players used the stadium at 4 pm (Ghana time), 7 pm (EAST) today. The Cranes’ contingent has FUFA Vice President Darius Mugoye as leader of delegation. Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi has told Ugandans in the Diaspora that Government is not persecuting homosexuals as alleged by some sections of the community. This was in a response to a question raised by Ugandans at the 26th Annual Uganda Northern America Association Convention under way in San Diego, California in the United States of America.
