Entebbe Municipality Resident District commissioner Nalongo Rose Mary Kirabira has ordered police to shut down the Kitooro community Radio over bashing government. The senior government officer on Thursday ordered police to seize the radio equipment in addition to summoning the radio manager identified as Mutangizi Gyaviira who narrowly missed arrest. Minister For Agriculture, Animal Industry & Fisheries, Tress Bucyanayandi has fired the National Animal Genetic Resources Centre &Data Bank Boss, Dr D.K.N. Ssemambo from office over mismanagement and incompetence. The senior government minister fired his junior officer after mismanaging several government programs and projects including the Artificial Breeding Centre in Entebbe. The minister fired him in his letter dated, 05thOctober 2015 and copied to other senior government officers including the permanent secretary MAAIF,NAGRC&DB Board Chairman John Nkuuhe and Director Animal Resources.
