Team Bugonga started their Entebbe Super Cup campaign with a comfortable victory over Team Nakasamba on Tuesday at the Lake Victoria School football pitch. Bugonga scored a dozen goals with Entebbe F.C Midfielder Abram Ndugwa scoring a total of two hat tricks. The other scorers for Bugonga included Jeblin Ntambazi and Richard Kalema who each scored two goals while Joshua Munji and Henry Mugambe each scored a goal apiece. Innocent Desire scored Nakasamba’s consolation goal. Meanwhile Referee Archilles Lukyamuzi red carded Bugonga goalie George Kayongo after he intentionally blocked Henry Kiwa from scoring Nakasamba’s second goal. Referee Lukyamuzi awarded Nakasamba a penalty however Gilbert Nduhikire failed to convert it.
Elsewhere Lunyo Central and Virus Research Institute played to a 2-2 draw, Kiwafu Central beat Kiwafu West 1-0 while Katabi Kitubulu edged Manyago (one) 4-1.
