Entebbe National Resistance Movement bosses Ssenfunka Tamuzadde and Rose Tumusiime are in trouble over diverting and pocketing funds met for the celebration of party’s 29 years in power. The crafty party officials received Shs 1.5 million from Entebbe Municipal Council to organize and plan for the colourful party event that was held on Sunday at Kigungu Primary School in addition to shopping several Kilos of rice, meat and drinks.

Several angry NRM youths turned rowdy after they were tipped off that they were going to miss out on pilawo and drinks to wash down their dry throats and demanded Rose Tumusiime the treasurer organizing committee to account for the dime she was given and why she starved party members for the whole day. The money hungry NRM Party official vanished from the venue for a couple of hours after she was grilled in a heated meeting to vomit all the cash she was given and returned after the situation had normalized.
The hungry frustrated youths turned their anger to Publicity Boss Ssefunka Tamuzadde and grilled him over forging accountability reports and for conniving with Mrs. Tumusiime to divert and pocket the party cash. NRM Party officials who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed that Mrs. Tumusiime back in 2008 diverted two heifers that were meant for the poverty alleviation campaign in Wakiso District and instead handed them to her close relatives. The angry youths including party officials reported the matter to Wakiso Resident District Commissioner Ian Kyeyune and promised to investigate and get back to them as soon as possible.
