Celebrated Comedian and CBS Radio Presenter Kato Lubwama aka Biiso is a happy man after successfully undergoing a heart operation in India. The renowned comedian had been hospitalized for three weeks in fotse Esctots Heart Institute New Dehli India where several high specialized surgeons successfully operated on his heart that also included a by-pass surgery.
The CBS Morning show Presenter was welcomed by several Democratic Party members and supporters including Ssebuliba Mutumba, Lulume Bayiga and fellow comedian Abbey Mukiibi upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday.
Hundreds of Democratic Party supporters who were clad in green T-shirts the Traditional Democratic Party Colour burst into happiness and Joy and sang the Buganda Anthem.
The ecstatic crowd began chanting DP slogans as a motorcade left the Airport for his Mutundwe Residence. Along the way crowds lined up to have a glimpse and cheer the Popular CBS Morning Kalisoliso Presenter, in return for their support he waved and held the DP Fist sign. The motorcade briefly stopped at Bwebajja Market and several women greeted and gave him mangoes.
After a long hour’s drive the motorcade arrived at his Mutundwe Residence a few minutes to 7pm, he briefly addressed his supporters where he thanked them and urged them to unite behind him and dislodge current Member of Parliament Rubaga South Ken Lukyamuzi ‘The Man’ in 2016 a seat he is eyeing badly.
“First I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers. I also want to thank all those who sponsored my operation and journey to India” he remarked.
“I travelled by Emirates Airlines (EK) and several well wishers including DP, Buganda Land Board, Business Community, CBS and Artists fundraised my operation which cost close $20,000 including medicines” he added
“The surgeons have told me to avoid eating fatty and oily foods including Pork ribs. I have been told to exercise regularly and eat lots of vegetables in addition to having enough rest. I cannot tell when I return to CBS.” Kato Lubwama revealed.
