
Entebbe and Kigali Golf Club marked their solid golfing partnership on Saturday with a mouth watering 7th Edition Golf Challenge that saw Entebbe emerge winners.
Entebbe where crowned champions after they returned a total score of 704 Nett from the best ten scores. Kigali returned a total score of 778 Nett from the best ten golf scores.
Despite their defeat, Kigali Golf Club Players took over the 19th Hole fun from their Entebbe Counter parts and cooled off the golfing fatigue with lots of dancing, merry making and drama.
Meanwhile in the March Mug of mugs, Sempebwa Robert emerged winner in the men’s category with 69 Nett. He won on Count back.
Mariera Isaac, Nsereko Paul and Monne Michael topped Groups A, B and C with 74, 69 and 69 Nett.
In the ladies category, Basiima Bridget and Tumusiime Pamela topped Group A and B after they won on count back with an identical score of 74 Nett.

Kabunga Charles emerged winner in the senior’s category with 71 Nett while Elias Katwebaze won the guest winner’s category with 66 Nett. All the winners in the various categories walked away with Mugs courtesy of sponsor Castle Lite.
A total of 102 players graced the March Mug of Mugs tournament.
Chief Guest of the day, Rtd Gen. Frank Mugambaje (Rwandese Ambassador to Uganda) lauded the partnership between Entebbe and Kigali saying that it enhances the greater vision of East African Integration. Entebbe Golf Club team will travel to Kigali mid this year in the return leg at the Kigali Golf Club. Singer A-Pass lit up the night with his hits.
