A serial robber identified as Oscar Mubiru alias Edirisa is breathing behind Kigo Prison cells after he was arrested by Police over aggravated robbery and terrorizing Entebbe residents. The serial robber was netted by Entebbe Police cops last month in April in Kampala where he has been selling his stolen items. Police was able to identify and arrest the thug after they viewed several CCTV Camera clips from different homes in Bugonga and Church road where he robbed and left several families in tears.
We have highly established that he robbed unspecified amounts of US Dollars and a flat screen Television set worth Shs15m around Bugonga and Church road. It’s not yet clear whether the items were recovered however residents in Bugonga, Kizungu zone and Church road have revealed that cases of robberies and theft have reduced in the area ever since the thug was arrested. The criminal was charged with Burglary and theft under different Police CRB numbers CRB 194/2017, CRB 107/2017, CRB 236/2017, and CRB 185/2017 because he has committed several cases and Police has been hunting for him for the last couple of months.
Sources have disclosed that he has been breaking into prominent homes in Bugonga and Church Road between 2am and 3am in the night and robbing valuable items. Sources have disclosed that the serial robber resides in Kampala and together with his yet to be identified colleagues they have been using a car and motorbike registration UDZ 700P to rob in Entebbe.
