President Museveni on Monday commissioned a 20 million US Dollars state of the art newly constructed African Gold Refinery (AGR) plant in Entebbe. In his address President Museveni commended African Gold Refinery (AGR) Limited for bringing the company to Uganda and warned government officials over frustrating investors with wrong policies such as high taxes. Museveni said that the plant has a capacity to refine 300,000 kgs of pure gold and silver. He revealed that African Gold Refinery Limited will majorly cater for the mining industry in East Africa.
