Shafik Bisaso coached Masavu had an impressive display over Entebbe FC in round two of the Fufa Big league. Masavu earned their 1-0 victory at their Katabi home ground on Thursday through Kenneth Tumusiime’s goal in the 40th minute. Masavu’s Charles Odeke continued to pile pressure on Entebbe but his shots were off target. Masavu goalie Godwin Buule denied frustrated Entebbe’s Roch Somoka after he saved a couple of shots.
We are lucky that the victory is on our side. We had a lot of pressure to maintain the lead. Entebbe FC had a couple of chances to equalize but thanks to my players they managed to put up an impressive display, Coach Bisaso said.
We failed to convert the many chances we got but we shall pick up the pieces and correct our errors and mistakes in the next encounters, Entebbe Coach Richard Makumbi told Entebbenews.
The two rival sides drew 0-0 in the first round at the Entebbe Football ground.
