Incumbent NRM Wakiso Woman MP Rose Mary Sseninde has urged the people of Entebbe Municipality to vote for her ahead of the upcoming polls. Sseninde who was campaigning in Entebbe Municipality on Friday promised to continue supporting women to start income generating projects by helping them access funds through their associations and groups. She also promised to continue sensitizing the locals on land matters because many have fallen victims of land grabbers.
“My fellow women I’ll continue supporting you to start income generating projects. I also want to assure you that I’ll continue addressing land related issues in Wakiso” Sseninde said.
She appealed to the locals to vote NRM party flag bearers at all levels. She specifically appealed to the locals to entrust the parliamentary seat to Rose Tumusiime because according to her she is a woman of substance who will add value in parliament and to Entebbe Municipality as a whole.
Jonah Nsubuga who is seeking to unseat DP’s Matia Lwanga Bwanika as Wakiso District LC5 Chairman promised to focus his attention on improving Education standards in the Municipality and Wakiso District as a whole. He pledged to award bursaries to the needy.
