
Entebbe based Sadolin mongers will be taking on newly promoted Rams in the Nile special rugby league that gets underway on Saturday at the Entebbe Secondary School grounds at 4pm. Rams, a Mulago Hospital based club together with Gulu elephants will be making their first appearance in the rugby league following their successful second division league in which they finished in first and second positions. The two clubs now bring the rugby league to Super 10. Other teams include Mutoni Warriors, Ezee Money Rhinos, Kobs, Toyota Buffaloes, Black Pirates, Hima Heathens and Makerere Impis.
Mongers who are without their Head coach Robert Powell till February 2016 have bolstered their squad with seven players. Among the new signings include David Kabuza (Impis), Robert Bibagamba ‘Bobby’ (Kobs), Hillary Lubangaken, Moses Aisu, Derrick Konde, Brian Ntale, Marvin Mukoka all students at Nkumba University and Timothy Luyirika.
Meanwhile Kobs signed a sponsorship deal with Betway Group worth Shs 120 million which is renewable and is now registered as the Betway Kobs. Betway Group also sponsors WestHam united in the English Premier League.
