Residents of Mawuguli village, Nalugala parish in Katabi Sub County off Entebbe-Kampala highway on Wednesday morning woke up to the shocking and totally devastating news after they discovered the body of a one Hakimu Ddumba lying in a pool of blood in a nearby bush. The residents screamed like hell after they spotted the deceased’s body dumped in the bush at around 10am and quickly rushed to inform the area LCI Chairman John Kasoma who immediately contacted Mpala Police Station. Police later swung into action and examined the deceased’s body for clues. The cops couldn’t believe their eyes after they discovered that the deceased was lying in a pool of blood after his head was shuttered by unidentified goons. The unidentified goons chopped the deceased’s head several times with a machete in the wee hours of Wednesday morning and vanished in thin air. The deceased was found with pieces of papers with a few scribbled notes on them and some loose money in his wallet. One note had an inspiring message about success, the other praising Jesus Christ and asking him to forgive him for all his sins, the note also read: Today is a good day of my life because it’s the day I’m going to meet Jesus Christ. The third one was dedicated to a person he loved most and indicated that he was going very far to meet the person who knows the heart of right people.
The area LCI Chairman John Kasoma and the residents couldn’t identify the deceased.
The goons motive is yet to be known but the Area LCI Chairman John Kasoma said that lots of idlers hide in the bush and smoke Marijuana and weed in addition to playing ‘Matatu’. He has vowed to work with Mpala OC Station Sulait Kitaka to increase security in the area. The deceased’s body was rushed to Mulago for a Postmortem as police hunts down for the goons. The incident has been registered at Entebbe Police Station under SD/REF/33/13/18/11/2015.
