Onesmus Adama and Charles Odeke guided their Masavu side to a fourth victory in the Fufa Big league. Masavu managed to grab a 1-0 lead thanks to Adama’s strike in the 41st minute. Skipper Charles Odeke made it to 2-0 for Masavu after his beautiful strike in the 60th minute that went past goalie Jackson Opio. Masavu’s third goalie was disallowed by Referee Ssali Mohammed after Bukeddeko Ali was in the offside position.
Masavu’s Lawrence Bakilaze earned himself a yellow card over his reckless playing behavior. Citizen’s Steven Othieno and Junior Ainamani also earned themselves yellow cards over their non-sporting behavior and reckless playing.
Masavu Head Coach Shafiq Bisaso couldn’t hide his excitement after the victory.
“I really want to thank the team for their success and efforts. The players have exhibited a winning mentality even in the hardest of circumstances. In the last eight days we have travelled close to 600kms for upcountry games but the players are still energized” a happy Bisaso told entebbenews.
Masavu will visit Kasese based suncity on November 7 while Entebbe FC will visit Hope Doves at Wankulukuku.
