
The yet to be identified mysterious killers who have now turned Katabi Town Council into an unsafe zone yet again killed the sixth victim in a span of two months, 25 year old Aisha Nakasinde whose body was discovered naked and dumped in a bush a few meters away from Kasenyi Barracks in Nkumba-Kavundira, Kasenyi zone in Katabi town council on Thursday.
According to neighbours and the deceased’s husband identified as Francis Bahati, the deceased was last seen on Sunday at 1pm heading to Kasenyi zone where she has been vending Cassava. According to reliable sources, the deceased, a resident of Bugabo-Bukaya zone in Nalugala, Katabi Town Council had been footing right from her home using short cuts or “Panyas” to reach Kasenyi where she has been vending Cassava.
Sources have revealed that the killers have been monitoring her movements because she has been using short cuts or isolated routes which the killers used to waylay her.
The body of the deceased was rushed to Mulago Hospital and will be laid to rest today in Bugabo-Bukaya zone in Nalugala, Katabi Town Council. The deceased is survived by a widower Francis Bahati who works with JP Cuttings flower exporting firm located in Nalugala and three kids aged 6 years, 3years and a seven months old baby.
The Deputy KMP South Police Commander Francis Tumwesigye, said that the killings are an organized crime orchestrated by a group of people who will be cracked down with time.
Tumwesigye appealed to the public to constantly remain vigilant and take security precautions. He urged women to be security conscious because they have turned into soft targets for the mysterious killers.
