2nd Leg: Sunday, 15th November 2015 Uganda Vs Togo
Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Kampala, 4pm
Charges: 20,000/= (Ordinary), 50,000/= (VIP), 120,000/= (VVIP)
Even when they were given a hero’s welcome upon their arrival at Entebbe International Airport on Friday at 4pm aboard a chartered flight, the Uganda Cranes quickly put aside their happiness and smile to strategize for the return leg with Togo that is scheduled for Sunday (November 15, 2015) at the Nelson Mandela (Namboole) stadium. Uganda cranes who have lost twice to Togo grabbed their first away win after a well taken Farouk Miya free kick in the 39th minute. Fufa Boss Moses Magogo congratulated the Uganda cranes for the away victory and rallied Uganda to turn up in large numbers on Sunday at the Namboole Stadium. The match will kick off at 4pm.
I thank the Uganda Cranes players and technical team for the true spirit exhibited in the 1-0 victory earned away from home. It was a wonderful display. Half of the job is done, we need to complete the task during the return leg on Sunday.
Meanwhile Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Muzafaru Ziraba Muzaale has assured the football fans of maximum security during the match.
Ziraba Muzaale was addressing the media at the FUFA weekly press conference in Mengo on Wednesday.
I assure the football fans that we have organized enough security personnel to handle the crowds that are expected to grace the match. I urge fans to first ensure early access to the stadium. Do not carry shape objects to the stadium. Do not carry political placards nor use the match as a political campaign plat-form he called.
