Residents of Bunono Village, Katabi Sub County in Entebbe Municipality are in shock and lost for words after a 16 year old Girl identified as Brenda Ahumuza was mysteriously kidnapped by yet to be identified persons. The missing girl who is a Senior three student (S.3) at Kajjansi Progressive Secondary School was reportedly kidnapped by yet to be identified persons on Tuesday at around 8pm as she tried to lock the gate at her parent’s home located in Bunono village. The girl’s mum Monica Abaho rushed to the gate after she heard her daughter screaming on top of her voice for help as the unidentified persons were whisking her away into thin air. She sounded an alarm and all the area residents came of out their houses to hunt down for the missing girl but all was in vain as the kidnappers had already vanished with the girl to unidentified destination. The missing girl’s parents Hillary Abaho and Monica Abaho reported the matter to the Entebbe Police Station under case Ref SD Ref/26/25/05/2016 but the investigations are yet to yield fruit. We have highly established from the missing girl’s dad that the case has been transferred to Kireka Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and two suspects have been arrested and put behind bars at Kireka SIU after they were pinned down over making reckless statements over the matter. It’s not yet clear who is behind the kidnap and the motive though police is working day and night to find the missing girl.
