Tanzanian singer Zuchu, real name Zuhura Othman Soud, has confirmed breaking up with fellow singer Diamond Platnumz.
Over the years, Diamond Platnumz has been linked to several romantic relationships, including with Uganda’s Zari Hassan, Tanasha Dona, Hamisa Mobetto, and Wema Sepetu, among others.
After several tries and fails, Diamond found peace and solace in his label signee, Zuchu, cementing their affair with a marriage ceremony.
However, after six years, the couple has reportedly ended their marriage, with Zuchu confirming the split on social media.
In a press briefing, Zuchu revealed that after years together, she has decided to choose herself, wishing her ex-husband, Diamond Platnumz (real name Naseeb Abdul), and his family nothing but the best.

She stressed that she is going to use this time to heal, focus on her health and work, saying she has no choice but to accept Allah’s plans.
Zuchu further revealed that at present, the divorce process is underway, and soon they will legally end their union.
