Popular reality TV star and businesswoman Zari Hassan Lutaaya has crowned Tanzanian musician Zuchu as the girlfriend of the year for locking down her baby daddy, Diamond Platnumz.
A week ago, photos flooded social media showing Diamond Platnumz and Zuchu allegedly tying the knot in a private Nikkah ceremony.
When asked how she felt about it, Zari Hassan, in a cheekily wished the couple the best of luck, confirming that there was nothing left between them besides coparenting their two children.
“If it is true, I wish them luck, but between me and him, we are doing a good job co-parenting our kids,” she said.
Zari, while acting surprised, congratulated Zuchu for her resilience and patience with Diamond Platnumz, who she says was not an easy partner to deal with. Having been in a relationship with him for years, Zari noted that they failed to work out because he tended to be jumpy in relationships.
“He is finally going to settle down. Didn’t the whole world pray for this? Alhamdulillah for you Naseeb. And Zuchu wins the girlfriend award of the year. Personally, as Zari, I couldn’t. She is strong and resilient. We couldn’t do it. We all failed and she is still standing. I’m so proud of her and I hope Naseeb treats her better now that she is a wife and not just a girlfriend,” she said.
Zari finally advised the Bongo Flava star to change his ways and start acting like the married man that he is right now.

“Let him change; it will be real and nice. That girl is putting up with a lot of shit from Naseeb. I feel for her as a mother. I wouldn’t want to see that happening to Latifah. Please change,” Zari said.
