Geoffrey Lukwago, a worker on the on-going Entebbe Express Way road construction is cursing like hell and crying crocodile tears behind bars at Entebbe Police Station after he was arrested over plotting to kill his Chinese Boss, a contractor on the Entebbe Express way Road Construction on Friday afternoon.
Witnesses at the scene revealed that the Chinese contractor whose names haven’t yet been established slapped Geoffrey Lukwago twice in addition to mistreating him like a slave and to make matters worse the Chinese contractor expelled him from work with immediate effect minus paying his wages. This according to witnesses sparked off the bitter row and Geoffrey Lukwago was determined to crush the Chinese Contractor who was driving a double Cabin Pick up to death near Total Petrol Station in Entebbe town using the Grader that he was operating.
The Chinese contractor kissed death after a Police pickup Patrol vehicle that was on it’s normal patrol operations in the area observed the incident and quickly rushed to the scene and Police officers pointed their guns at Geoffrey Lukwago to abort the mission or risk being short dead. He got out of the grader and was bundled onto the Police pickup and taken to Entebbe Police Station where he was charged with attempted Murder.
Meanwhile the Chinese Contractor jumped out of the double Cabin Pick up vehicle unhurt and was whisked away to a yet to be identified place. Both the grader and the double Cabin Pickup vehicle were towed to Entebbe Police Station.
Witnesses at the scene revealed that other workers have been complaining about the Chinese contractor whom they accused of mistreating and harassing them like slaves.
