    Women Sweep Divisional NRM Party Polls In Entebbe

    Two women have proved man enough and swept  the divisional polls in the two divisions of   Entebbe.

    Jane Scholastica Baguma and Clemence Sentabire swept the divisional polls on Wednesday and knocked out several males

    Jane Schlastica Baguma also aspiring NRM party Div ‘A’ chairperson floored three males after scooping 2062 votes and left them limping. The trio include Farouk Muyimbwa, Abiine John and Kalenzi Abbey.

    The divisional polls were swept by females at both divisions with shocking results against the potential men. At the division ‘B’, two men lost the heated battle against former area councilor, Clemence Sentabire who garnered over 1920 votes.

    Joseph Lukyamuzi also NRM divisional vice chairperson garnered over 1750 votes as his second opponent Christopher Sebuliba bagged 226 votes while Kabu Bruhan tailed with no figure.

    Lukyamuzi conceded defeat  and reacted to the lost battle after Clemence Sentabire scoorng highly at several polling stations following her political history and leadership skills.

    The happening political wave is fronting new female faces to test their leadership abilities and experiences. Jane Scholastica Baguma is one of those new  faces to watch ahead of the 2021 scientific elections.

    In related news, councilor Amir Sekandi scored 769 votes against councilor Mathias Kafeero Kabinika 51 votes at the Kiwafu East polling station while George Ntoganyi Ssendawula bagged 192votes against Walter Opiro 52 votes at the Kiwafu West polling station.
