The Wakiso Zonal Football Championships will climax today Thursday March 19 at St. Mary’s College Kisubi Play Ground with two semifinal matches kicking off at 9:00am and 11:00pm and later at 3:00pm the final match will get underway.
Entebbe Parents will be up against merry land High School Kigungu branch after knocking out Kisubi Mapeera 4-2 on penalty shoot outs in the quarter final stage. The match ended in a 2-2 draw. Merry Land Kigungu branch knocked out Entebbe based Tagy High School 4-1 yesterday at St.mary’s Kisubi play Ground to book their semifinal clash with Entebbe Parents.
St.Mary College Kisubi will be up against Boston High School Mpala after a 3-1 victory over Green stars Secondary School. Meanwhile Boston High School easily advanced to the semifinals with a walk over after Merry Land High School Katabi Branch failed to present academic pass slips and Identity cards. Boston High School where awarded three goals and three points to book their semifinal clash with St.Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK) today.
The champion and the runners up will automatically qualify for the Wakiso District Championships.
