
With game of wood ball steadily growing in Uganda, Federation president Paul Mark Kayongo’s tireless effort in promoting the sport across the pearl of Africa finally saw him clinch the International Wood ball federation vice Presidency for Africa job, a position that will see him take charge of all wood ball activities in Africa. Kayongo was elected to the post at a ceremony that was held at the wood ball headquarters in Taiwan and he takes over from Ms. Peninah Kabenge who has held the post since 2008. Kayongo was also elected to the IWBF Finance committee in 2013.
I would like to thank the International Wood ball Federation for entrusting me with the Vice Presidency for Africa position. The game of wood ball is steadily growing in Uganda and my task now is to spread the sport across Africa. Kayongo told entebbenews.
