The Barclays Bank Golf Tournament which got underway on Saturday at the par 71 Entebbe Club saw Pamela Tumusiime emerge as overall winner with 63 Nett playing Golf Handicap 36. She beat other 145 players to win the top prize.
“I least expected to win because I have been playing Golf for leisure since last year but this time I decided to put up a serious challenge because my daughters who also play Golf have been challenging me to return home with prizes” a jovial Tumusiime told entebbenews.
“Winning this tournament has inspired me to continue participating in more Golf Tournaments for the next five years though age may eventually stop me from playing. I dedicate this prize to my daughters back home who are also budding Golfers” Tumusiime added.

Playing Golf Handicap 08 Ada Steve returned 67 Nett to emerge Group A winner while Kabarira Dennis returned 70 Nett to finish as Group A runners up.
In Group B playing Golf Handicap 16 David Scanlon returned 67 Nett to emerge as winner while Oyee Patrick finished as Runners up with 69 Nett, he won on count back.
In Group C Kyambadde Frank emerged as winner with 67 Nett while Byaruhanga Jaime also returned 67 Nett to settle for Runners up position. Both Kyambadde and Byaruhanga won count back.
Ladies Category (H/C 0-17):
Kyomugisha Meron Group A winner with 71 Nett while Mbaguta Gloria returned 73 Nett to finish runners up. Nabukenya Diana topped group B with 68 Nett while Nambi Pauline finished as Group B runners up with 75 Nett.
