
A 31 year old man identified as Ssebagala Mutwalibi is breathing behind bars at Entebbe Police Station after he was netted over stealing mobile phones and other electronic gadgets. The crafty man broke into ED-TEC Phone Solutions shop located next to Knight Riders Disco Theque in the wee hours of Friday Morning and was plotting to vanish with the Mobile Phones when he was nabbed by several residents who reside close to the shop. The neighbors contacted the shop owner identified as Edmond Lubega at around 5am who rushed to the scene to save his business. Police later swung into action and arrested the thug who was planning to rush to Kampala to sale off the stolen goodies.
Police revealed that they recovered 30 mobile phones and several other electronic gadget including two laptops, laptop battery, external hard drive, 8 phone chargers and 8 phone batteries from the thug who had packed everything in a bag.

The Entebbe Police OC Operations C/ASP Samuel Kalyango disclosed that the thug has a racket in Kampala that he deals with and warned all companies and people employing security gardens at their residences to be careful because many of the thugs connive with the security guards in robbery missions. Meanwhile the Entebbe Police OC CIID Zachariah Mbabazi called on the residents to be vigilant and always ensure that they lock their houses and always work with the Police to identify and bust all theft and robbery rackets terrorizing residents. The thug will be charged with robbery and theft under case Ref SD Ref 03/13/01/17.
