St. Agnes, Airforce S.S Win 2nd Entebbe Wood Ball Schools Open Tourney.

The 2^nd Entebbe Wood Ball Schools open which got underway on Saturday at Lake Victoria School saw St. Agnes Primary School emerge overall winner in the primary schools category with 314 strokes.  St. Agnes Primary School beat Lake Victoria School, Nalugala Muslim Primary school and Entebbe Junior School to triumph in the primary school category. St. Agnes’ Kyeyune Moses and Shema Resty took the top slots in the boys and girls category with 30 and 34 strokes respectively.

In the secondary schools category Airforce Secondary School emerged overall winners after scooping 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd slots in the boys’ category while in the girls’ category it scooped the 1^st and 2^nd slots. Tumwine Edson (27), Kizito Mathias (31), Ngobi Umar (32) were the scorers in the boy’s category. Namuganga Joanah (35) and Dawa Irene (35) were the scorers in the girl’s category.

Elsewhere St. Kizito primary school and Luzira Secondary School emerged overall winners at the 2^nd Nakawa schools open Wood Ball Tourney held at St. Kizito Primary School grounds on Saturday. St. Kizito emerged overall winners with 286 strokes beating Murchison Bay Primary School. Luizra Secondary School where the overall winners in the Secondary School category with 256 strokes beating St. Kizito S.S.S Bugolobi, Kyambogo College School, St. Kizito High School Namugongo, and Luzira S.S.S.

Next on the Uganda Woodball Federation competitive calendar is the 6^th Kyambogo Open Woodball Championship on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Kyambogo University where teams from Primary and Secondary Schools, Universities, Clubs and Corporate bodies will compete under the schools and clubs categories.
