Sophie Nantongo’s recent concert at the Serena Hotel in Kampala was a resounding success, drawing a large and enthusiastic audience.
The event, held on Friday, was part of the seventh edition of the annual Tugende Mu Kikadde, which has become one of the venue’s most attended events.
The concert attracted a mature crowd, with attendees in their 30s and above. The hotel had to bring in extra chairs to accommodate the many guests, some seated on the stairways.
Fellow artists like Maureen Nantume, Catherine Kusasira, Mesach Semakula, Rebecca Jjingo, Stecia Mayanja, Lydia Jazmine, Irene Namatovu, Kabako, Topic Kasente, Zafarani, and Topic Kasente were in attendance to support their own.
Sam Ssimbwa, Sophie Nantongo’s partner, enhanced the event’s excitement by publicly demonstrating his support for his beloved.
