

The elite Special Forces command (SFC) emerged champions of the 2015 Entebbe International Airport league. SFC where crowned champions after they topped the league table with 32 points. They walked away with a trophy, medals and a calf. Airport Taxi finished in second position with 28 points; they received a goat for their success. In third position was Laico Lake Victoria Hotel which finished with 26 points. The Trophy awards gala was held on Friday at the Entebbe Airport football grounds and was presided over by the Entebbe Airport NRM Group chairman Tom Byarugaba who underscored the need to take the league to a higher level by working with different stake holders who value the importance of sports.



Meanwhile SFC beat Protea Hotel 1-0 in a friendly match that was held to officially wrap up the league. SFC now joins Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and Entebbe Handling Services Limited (ENHAS) who have won the league title twice. The Seven teams that participated in the league include Airport Taxi, CAA, Lake Victoria Hotel, Protea Hotel, SFC and Airforce.
