Over the weekend on Sunday Entebbe Botanical Gardens was the place to be as curtains came down at the second Edition of the Milege Music festival. The three day festival which begun on Friday attracted all categories of revelers including several zungu fellas who camped at the gardens and felt like not returning to their home lands. The Zungu revelers and a few black fellas enjoyed lots of performances from poets and bands who kept it exclusively African. By 9pm the whole Botanical Gardens was blazing madness after babes begun modeling in African attire and kept revelers shouting on top of their voices. A Burundian cultural dance troupe flavored up the night with lots of Burundi traditional dances. There were lots of snacks and drinks to wash down dry throats provided the wallet wasn’t yawning. Our son of the soil and corporate events emcee Roger Mugisha was in charge of all microphones and was manning the stage like God knows what. Entebbenews covered the whole event.
