


Raymond Semata (Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi woodball club) and Agnes Apio from Bank Of Uganda (B.O.U) excelled at the 6th Corporate Beach Woodball circuit that was held on Sunday at the Sports Beach In Entebbe. Semata tallied a total of 47 strokes to emerge overall winner in the men’s category. Eric Lukooya (Stroke Woodball club) and Godwin Senyondo (Bank Of Uganda woodball club) finished in second and third place with an identical result of 50 strokes.
Agnes Apio (Bank Of Uganda) returned a total of 59 strokes to clinch the ladies accolade. Luwedde Shahnaaz from St. Mark’s College Namagoma finished in second place with 61 strokes while Mary Nantumbwe from St. Joseph Technical Institute Kisubi Woodball club took third place with 64 strokes.
Raymond Semata leads in the men’s overall rankings with a total of 108 strokes while Joseph Ssemanda (stroke woodball club) is in second position with a total of 98 strokes. Godfrey Bukenya (St. Joseph’s Kisubi Woodball Club) stands in third place with 95 strokes.
Rose Matovu (Ndejje Corporate Club) leads in the ladies’ overall rankings with a total of 51 strokes. In second and third place is Margaret Mulamba and Mary Natumbwe both from St. Joseph’s Technical Institute Kisubi with 45 and 43 strokes respectively.
Ajopa, Mukoova Claim 4th Beach Woodball circuit.
Faustine Ajopa (Ndejje University) returned 43 strokes to emerge winner in the men’s category while Joan Mukoova (Ndejje University) tallied a total of 44 strokes to emerge winner in the ladies category. Mukoova and Lillian Zawedde lead in the overall rankings with 118 strokes respectively. In third place is Sophie Namuddu with a total of 114 strokes. Ronald Kawumba is top on the rankings with 192 strokes.
The overall winners in each category will be awarded at the UWbF Awards 2015 slated for Friday, December 11, 2015 at Grand Imperial Hotel.
