
A senior five (S.5) student of Boston High School in Mpala zone, Katabi Town council who allegedly murdered his classmate was on Wednesday pinned down by two of his fellow classmates.
His classmates testified in court presided over by Entebbe Chief Magistrate Mary Kaitesi Kisakye, that on 8 March this year they saw the accused beating up the deceased thoroughly following a squabble after evening preps.
The prosecution witnesses who witnessed the fight that was originated by the accused told court that in the process of fighting the accused gave the deceased a heavy punch and eventually he fell down on the Veranda and became unconscious. They added that the deceased was picked from the veranda and rushed to the school bay for first aid and later rushed to Kisubi hospital where he was referred to Mulago Hospital where he breathed his last.
However the Magistrate further remanded the accused to Kigo prisons till 12 April 2017 when he returns to court for further hearing and cross-examination of more state witnesses.
Prosecution avers that on 8 March 2017 at Boston High school in Mpala zone, Wakiso district, Aaron Kisule 22, a senior five (S.5) student at this school unlawfully killed his classmate identified as Ivan Muchunguzi aged 21. It’s alleged that before the deceased passed on, the accused first engaged in a fight with him demanding a water heater that had been confiscated by the school warden. It’s reportedly that in the ensuing scuffle, the accused overpowered the deceased whom he beat up before falling down on the edge of the classroom veranda. The deceased sustained injuries and he was rushed to the school sick bay for first aid but when his heath situation worsened he was taken to Kisubi hospital where he was referred to Nakasero hospital and later he was referred to Mulago hospital where he died from.
