While other teams were tussling it out for supremacy on Saturday, Sadolin Mongers earned a smooth ride to victory against bottom Gulu elephants at their Entebbe S.S Grounds also popularly known as the ‘House of Pain’. Sadolin mongers earned a walk-over against Gulu Elephants who didn’t show up and didn’t give an official communication. Mongers were awarded with a 28-0 score and now sit comfortably in fifth place with 38 points.
A source privy to information in the Uganda Rugby Union indicated that Gulu Elephants have now missed three games in a row and will be relegated.
“They have so many administrative challenges that they need to sort out. They need to organize their house first because many of their players are unreliable. The only solution now is just to kick them out of the league because they have missed three matches in a row” a source indicated.
