
Entebbe Sadolin Mongers failed to live up to the task when they were held to a 12-12 draw at their Entebbe S.S home ground also known as the “House of Pain” on Saturday. Mongers opened the score sheet through Hannington Mukalazi who scored a try in the first half however Fred Odu equalized for Toyota Buffaloes to finish level in the first half. Mongers led Buffaloes 12-5 in the second half after Don Wambete scored a try which was converted by Adrian Wasswa. Buffaloes put up a spirited fight and equalized through Eric Kasiita who scored a try which was converted by Fred Odu.
Elsewhere Impis Lost to Rhinos 26-55 while Rams got a walk over after Gulu Elephants failed to show up. Rams were awarded with 28 -0 score. Heathens walloped Pirates 31-9 while Kobs pounded warriors 40-3.
Mongers now sit sixth on the league table with 27 points while Kobs are top with 58 points and are ahead of rivals Hima cement Heathens who are second with 53 points. Rhinos are third with 39 points while Pirates and Buffaloes are fourth and fifth with 37 and 29 points respectively. Rams are seventh with 16 points, Makerere impis are eighth with 13 points while Mutoni Warriors and Gulu Elephants are in the relegation zone with 10 and 6 points respectively.
