Celebrated music producer Paddyman, real name Paddy Kayiwa Mukasa, has addressed allegations of using dark magic for fame.
Producer Paddyman, during a YouTube interview, advised upcoming musicians who always approach him thinking that his fame and success were propelled by witchcraft, acknowledging that many have approached him with hopes that he would help them to finally get their big breakthrough.
“Let me use this opportunity to tell these young people that I do not have secret powers or dark rooms. If you look around my studio, there is no magic behind my doors,” he said.
Sharing his experience with upcoming musicians, Paddyman, over a year back, an upcoming artist approached him at his studio, with claims that he would do anything to get the riches and fame.
Having connected and recommended many young talents to different music groups and bands, he thought it was the same case with this particular artist. To his surprise, however, the young man insisted, vowing that he would sacrifice his own mother to have his wishes granted.

“He came requesting me to initiate him. When I pretended I didn’t know what he meant, he told me not to worry because he would give in his mother who he said was useless. He suggested he would behead his mother just to become a star,” he said.

Paddyman further advised the upcoming artists to always prioritize hard work and trust in God’s timing.
“To the young men, it is all about hard work and God’s timing. It is very hard to convince them that someone can work to become a star. They think there is another price to be paid,” he said.
