Elvis Ssewakambo who right from the start of the campaigns knew that he would sail through comfortably to the MDF Presidency had his hopes quashed after urban planning ministry official David Kasimbazi opened the Electoral College voting process to all Entebbe residents who were present in their respective sectors.

“Elvis Ssewakambo got letters from Town Clerk Charles Magumba’s office inviting all participants to turn up for the elections but Ssewakambo distributed the letters to his cronies and buddies who assured him of support. Other aspiring candidates Wanjoki, Mugabi Gracious and Godfrey Bwandinga didn’t receive any letters and raised several complaints about the transparency of the voting process,” a source revealed.
