Nkumba University Guild Presidential Candidate Moreen Nabatanzi is vowing to sweep Guild Presidential elections on Saturday with a land slide victory. Speaking to entebbenews on Wednesday the second year procurement and logistics student disclosed that she will improve communication between the student body and the university administration if elected.
“One of the main causes of last year’s strike was poor communication between the students and the university Administration. I intend to create a students’ parliament which will be a vehicle for the students to discuss and deliberate on a wide range of issues as well as enhancing and promoting a good relationship with the university administration” Natabanzi said.
“I call upon all the students to rally behind me because I’ve the talent ‘Ekitone’ for leadership that is unique from the rest of the candidates” she added.
Commenting on her campaign slogan ‘nothing for us without us’ Natabanzi explains that her administration will rely on team work to address challenges and achieve the best for the university and the students.
Nabatanzi who served in the previous regime as Member of Parliament non-resident is proud of her uncle who has supported her in her bid for the Nkumba University Guild Presidency.
