Musiime Perry and Rita Akot Apell who doubles as the Entebbe Club Lady Captain have set the pace for the Castle Lite sponsored Entebbe Mug of Mugs series. With the first quarter of the Mug of mugs series concluding on Saturday at the Par 71 Entebbe Golf Course, Perry Musiime topped the men’s category with a combined total of 213 Nett after three months of exciting action.
Ali Juuko and David Kateregga are tied in second place with both at 216 Nett. Akot Rita Apell is leading the ladies category with 213 Nett with Apophia Jemima trailing in the Runners up position with 218 Nett.
Meanwhile, Kenneth Kiddu claimed the March monthly mug after he returned 67 Nett to be crowned overall winner. Patrick Mugisha finished top as Group A winner with 71 Nett and was also lucky enough to hit a hole-in-one on hole number 12. Mark Kaddu Mukasa topped group B after he won on countback with 71 Nett. Kateregga David topped Group C after he won on count back with 68 Nett.
Rita Apell Akot topped the ladies Group A Category with 74 Nett while Tumusiime Pamela topped Group B after she won count back with 72 Nett. Olivia Musisi was crowned Guest winner with 67 Nett.
All the winners walked away with a range of goodies courtesy of sponsors Castle Lite and Barclays Bank. The Golfers whiled the 19th hole night with performances from Ivugga Band.
