The Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Rose Tumusiime has appealed to WhatsApp users to desist from using bad or obscene language on the popular social media platform. MP Tumusiime who made the appeal during the open forum meeting (Baraza) that was organized at the Kiwafu Play Ground on Monday noted that people are using whatsapp to spread sectarianism, tribal propaganda and hatred. She said that if people don’t stop the hatred and dangerous tribal talk, they will end up killing themselves. She called on the residents to focus on developmental ideas that build Entebbe Municipality and Uganda as a nation other than wasting time on tribal talk.
