
Entebbe based Sadolin Mongers succumbed to their third loss of the season after they were thumped by Hima Cement Heathens 10-36 at the Entebbe S.S Grounds popularly known as the ‘House of Pain’. Mongers’ Adrian Wasswa grabbed an early penalty in the 12th minute however in the 20th minute Heathens managed to cruised past Mongers with a 7-3 margin after captain Michael Wokorach scored a try which was converted by Phillipe Wokorach. Heathens continued to pile more misery on the mongers after Heathen’s Cox Muhowa and Phillipe Wokorach scored a try and a conversion respectively. Heathens grabbed a 24 score lead after Phillipe Wokorach scored a try and a conversion in the 9th and 10th minute. Phillipe Wokorach converted Cox Muhowa’s try to give Heathens a 31 score lead. Phillipe Wokorach sealed Heathen’s victory with a try. Mongers grabbed a consolation from Adrian Wasswa who converted Paul Angana’s try in the 22nd minute.
Elsewhere Ezee Money Rhinos beat Rams 28-17, Gulu Elephants lost 9-15 to Buffaloes, Black Pirates lost 08-23 to BetWay Kobs and Impis were walloped 0-10 by Mutoni Warriors.
We had a bad game but we believe we can recover from the bitter loss and revenge on our next opponents Mutoni Warriors whom we are hosting on Saturday, Mongers Captain John Wandichio told entebbenews.
