Dancehall singer Mikie Wine has explained his absence from Yung Mulo’s concert despite being his close friend.
Mikie was among the musicians who have faced criticism for not supporting Yung Mulo’s concert, and during his interview with BBS TV, he defended himself, noting that he was fully booked for other shows outside Kampala.
He acknowledged being a close friend to Yung Mulo, explaining that he traveled to Mityana, then proceeded to Bukuya and believed that he couldn’t make it back in time for Mulo’s event.
“He is my friend but just like you know, I had already secured bookings and I showed you my schedule. Usually I do not want to lie to people that I’m coming yet I know I won’t make it. But all in all, I wished him good luck,” he said.

Mikie also used this chance to invite his friends and fans to his ‘Friends Of Mikie Wine’ concert slated for 5th December at Skyz Hotel.

I believe God will pave the way for me and give me an amazing show,” he said.
