Musician Mikie Wine has addressed the recent allegations that he was once blocked from accessing his brother, Bobi Wine, at the NUP headquarters.
In an interview, Mikie Wine noted that he followed the proper procedure and protocol like any other person.
The Sulubada High School headmaster further denied the allegations that foot soldiers blocked his access to his brother. He revealed that he has a good relationship with everyone who works closely with Bobi Wine and doesn’t have any issues with being stopped by security.
They have no reason to stop me from seeing my brother. When he gets to his office, it is a different business. There is a protocol to be followed.

Even when I get to his home, I knock, and vice versa. That is all respect and a normal thing to do. I have no problem confirming if he is busy even when he is my brother. Even when the gatekeeper asks me who I am and requires permission from him to open for me, I have no problem with that because it is courteous. He has the right to stop or give me a go ahead to enter,” Mikie Wine said.

The alleged tension between the Ssentamu brothers was sparked by Eddy Yawe’s controversial interview weeks back. He called out the foot soldiers for sabotaging the family’s relationship with Bobi Wine, specifically mentioning Mikie Wine being blocked from accessing the NUP offices.
